Laser Cutter Training
As per directions received from Pete Storey, IO Staff:
Laser cutter training must be done in the laser cutter room and consequently they can only effectively train 7 to 8 students at one time. Normally the training is arranged by the students at a time that does not conflict with anyone’s schedules. IO staff’s recommendation would be that students organize themselves into groups of 8 or less and make arrangements to be trained by either A. attending one of the regularly scheduled training sessions on Thursdays from 2-3 and 3-4 or B. directly emailing Pete, Adel, or Lauren and arranging an alternate time for training. Once trained, students will have full access to both laser cutters (times must be reserved at IO Central for $3/hr).
Please note that you must verify with IO staff via email in advance for either of the two above options for training.
